This monolith was created by Bill Zempel, the head mechanic at neighboring business next to the Colorado Spaceport, in Watkins, CO. The Colorado Space Port is one of 11 locations in the country with the license given by the Federal Aviation Administration with the eventual goal to create a hub for commercial space travel and research.
